Thanks to everyone that came out and supported the Native Students and Parents of Federal Way Public Schools. This was the first powwow or Native event of it's kind in the area and a good impression was made. A special thanks to the Washington State Urban Indian Tobacco Coalition for co-sponsoring the powwow with the Native Students and Parents!! Let's cross our fingers and hope we can do again next year!

I was given the report from White Hawk Singers' myspace blog. MC was 2007-2008 Powwow Time MC of the Year Sonny Quinto. Host drum was New Agency. Other drums included Lonesome Creek, Northern Bad Medicine, Kicking Woman, Rocking Horse, Tail Plume, White Hawk, Fort Peck Ramblers, Two Birds and Coyote Soldier Boys. There were a couple of different sets of cultural dancers for an exhibition around dinner break, plus a pretty big feed. All my summary. Thanks to Faran for posting that.
