Greetings!
The 7th Annual "New Faces of an Ancient People Traditional American Indian Powwow" will be held on April 10-11, 2010, at the Mount Nittany Middle School in State College, PA. A traditional American Indian powwow is a celebration of American Indian dance and culture.
We are planning to honor all surviving WWII veterans, this year. Please ask any WWII veterans you may know to attend this year's powwow.
Admission is free to the public.
Sponsored by Penn State University and The State College Area School District.
2010 Powwow Schedule & Head Staff
Schedule
- Saturday April 10: Dancer Grand Entry at Noon and 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday April 11: Dancer Grand Entry only at Noon
- Doors, Vendors and Native Kitchen open at 11 a.m., both days.
